Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed nerve tissue from inside a tooth so the tooth can be saved rather than extracted. It usually needs more than one visit; we generally recommend a stay of 1–2 weeks when a root canal and a crown are both needed.

At Oaks Dental Clinic
Our dental operating microscope helps locate and clean fine root canals. When the tooth needs a crown afterwards, it is made in our in-house laboratory.
What happens
The inflamed or infected pulp is removed, the canals are shaped, cleaned and disinfected, then filled and sealed. The tooth is usually restored afterwards — often with an all-ceramic crown — to protect it from fracture. The number of visits depends on the tooth and the state of the canals.

Root canal treatment is one of the treatments we place in the 1–2 week category, especially when a crown follows. The number of visits depends on the tooth and is confirmed after examination.

Before you travel
Send your panoramic x-ray, ct scan, photos of your teeth, existing treatment plan or medical records by email or WhatsApp. The preliminary review is free, and we reply with whether treatment is likely to be possible, the expected number of visits, an estimated cost range and available dates. Aftercare and warranty
