Porcelain Veneers and Smile Design
Porcelain veneers are thin ceramic shells bonded to the front of the teeth to improve their shape, colour and alignment. Veneers are the treatment international patients ask us about most, and with our in-house laboratory they can be completed in as little as 1–2 days.

At Oaks Dental Clinic
Your smile is designed from scans and photographs, and the veneers are made in our in-house laboratory. In suitable cases veneers can be completed in one day. A deposit of 10% of the treatment fee is requested to secure appointments for cosmetic prosthetic treatment.
Smile design and mock-up
The design starts from the balance between your face and your teeth — the facial midline, the position of the eyes and nose and the line of your lips. A face scanner and an intraoral scanner are used to produce a mock-up, so you can see the planned shape before any tooth is touched.
Minimal tooth reduction
The mock-up and a diagnostic model determine whether any enamel needs to be removed. Where reduction is needed at all it is kept to a minimum, using guides and the dental microscope; in some cases it is close to none.
Made in-house
Veneers are milled with CAD/CAM in our own laboratory, controlled to a fraction of a millimetre. Most cases can be completed within a day; treatment typically takes 2–3 visits including the design stage.
How long veneers last
With good care and regular check-ups, porcelain veneers commonly last 10 years or more. Avoid very hard or chewy foods immediately after bonding; normal eating resumes once you have adapted.
Visits and timing for visitors
Veneers can be completed in 1–2 days. For cosmetic work we recommend allowing about 7 days in Seoul so there is time for shade and shape adjustments. Whether veneers are the right option for you is confirmed after examination.

Before you travel
Send your panoramic x-ray, ct scan, photos of your teeth, existing treatment plan or medical records by email or WhatsApp. The preliminary review is free, and we reply with whether treatment is likely to be possible, the expected number of visits, an estimated cost range and available dates. Costs

Aftercare and warranty
